Our town of Rosalia, WA, with its 598 residents, deserves representation from individuals deeply rooted in our community. This is a family town, and we need someone truly invested in its well-being. My aspiration to join the Town Council stems from my desire to make our town a safe and nurturing environment for our children, who are the future of our great nation. Amidst the current political turmoil, it’s essential that we encourage the next generation to step up and contribute to the governance of this wonderful United States of America. Perhaps one day, one of my children will be featured in a voter’s pamphlet.

It’s quite intriguing to see a professional politician express interest in becoming a council member of a small town like Rosalia. While my opponent seems primarily focused on the swimming pool, it’s important to note that the pool is not operated by the Town. It is managed by a separate entity – the Rosalia Park & Recreation District #5. Like many others, I see the park and its pool as valuable community assets where people of all ages can gather and enjoy. I am committed to engaging with property owners and the Park & Rec district to assist where I can, ensuring it remains open next season.

Politics is new to me, and I believe that in a small town like ours, it shouldn’t play any part in how the Town operates. I

understand the role and responsibilities of a Town Council member. Over the years I’ve lived here, I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. But mostly good. We need more good happening in Rosalia, and that will be one of my top priorities.

My pre-retirement professional background was focused on entrepreneurship, bolstered by my skills in structural engineering. I have achieved success thanks to the unwavering support of my beautiful wife, Erin, who works with children at the Rosalia School as a para-educator.

Recently, when asked how I define success, my answer was simple: God and family. I am immensely proud of my children, who are my true measure of success. Each one of them is a productive citizen and a patriot.
